At the Brentwood school I spoke with high school teenagers about sexism in the media, intellectualizing your emotions in order to combat misogyny and how I use my music and DJing to make a difference in my own sphere of influence. Two highlights after the talk were when a group of girls came up to me crying sharing stories of being bullied by the boys but how they plan to stop it, and some of the boys coming up to me and telling me about how they want to make sure not to play sexist music in their DJ sets too!!!! The future is female.
