Earlier this year, I was deeply honored to be invited to the Calanoa Amazonas rainforest for Wild Symphony 2024. It was an incredible gathering of musicians, healers, and sound explorers from across the globe. Deep in the Amazon, we spent our days listening to and connecting with the “living forest.”
The experience was hosted at Calanoa Ecolodge, a beautiful space founded by Marlene and Diego Samper. heir work brings together art, conservation, and Indigenous knowledge in a way that feels both intentional and deeply restorative.
From that sacred experience, I was inspired to create the Amazon Guided Meditation, now available on Spotify. Co-written and produced with Kevin McCann, this project was born from the profound healing I felt while recording live nature sounds and meditating in the rainforest’s embrace.
This meditation is more than a sonic experience — it’s an invitation to reconnect with our breath, our planet, and each other. I’m grateful to the Wild Symphony collective and the Calanoa Foundation for holding such a powerful space of collaboration, reverence, and reciprocity.
