Last week at UNGA79 in New York, I had the privilege of joining an inspiring panel discussion on “Spotlight on Periods: A Call for Menstrual Health Equity”, hosted by Essity and Below the Belt. It was incredible to share the stage with trailblazers from film, music, and sports, as well as passionate activists and influencers. Together, we explored the critical role that pop culture plays in driving systemic change and addressing the gaps in menstrual health.
