I spent the past three weeks in Bali, Indonesia training for my acroyoga teacher certification. I have been practicing acroyoga for the last 2 years and felt particularly inspired by the focus, connectedness, strength training and healing touch the practice provided me. Through learning how to base so that others can fly, I found myself lifting others up, physically and emotionally, and incorporating these lessons into my daily life, public speaking and music. This year, it was a true honor to close out the year by training with my dedicated partner Chilean Belen Montalva whose humility and love for the practice was a huge source of motivation for me. To study 8 hours daily under Acro Yoga co-founder Jason Nemer and his talented team John Karvelis, Andrew Sealy, Mika Saito, Alexandra Ruiz, Justin Caruso, Sarah Sol, taught me the wisdom of solar high energy days paired with lunar sensual therapeutic days. I pushed my own sense of commitment, humility and discipline and worked with over 50 acroyogis from across the world. I can’t wait to bring this healing practice to future conferences and festivals I perform at, and I’m so grateful to the acroyoga community for this certification! #acroyoga #bali
