I had the great honor of joining Trap Heals in designing an aspirational trap house of meditation, clean food, spiritual connection, stimulating innovation and heart-opening conversation. Literally the coolest project I have been a part of in a long time!!! So deeply brilliant!!! In this piece for The Fader, the viewer moves through each aspect of the house (including a cameo from Coldplay’s Chris Martin!) and at one point lands on Richie Reseda and me. You see us having a conversation over FaceTime about misogyny in music, why it exists and what we can all do about it, as both the consumer and the artist.

From founder Damon Turner:
TRAP HEALS is a prayer, a prophecy, a dream. It is the uncomfortable tension between what is and what is to come. TRAP HEALS is focused on building the infrastructure that will get Black folks closer to freedom…globally. The subject of our work specifically focuses on the future of where our people can and will ultimately go. ‘PROPHETIC: Trap Healed’ is a visionary piece of content of where we can ultimately be as a culture.
