The third annual Oxfam Jam brought a melody of female-fronted bands to their celebration of International Women’s Day at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory and I was so proud and honored to be part of this event.

The wide range of genres gave a unique voice to the activist message of the evening: that all women deserve and require equality. The work that all of the female artists have been doing further the message of equality even more, through sound and social message.
