Each year, two students at Harvard Business School are awarded the Fitzie Prize, awarded by the Fitzie Foundation to the students who actively pursue their passions while pursuing higher education. It was named after an HBS student named Fitzie, who passed away in the fifties but was an avid skater. She was deeply accomplished and a passionate individual, and the prize money is to be used to further the recipient’s skillset. I plan on using this $10,000 award towards making an album with my band Madame Gandhi, that inspires young women around the world to own their own voice, and to celebrate feminine qualities.
